WASHINGTON – In wake of the Weekly Standard’s failure, Bill Kristol, former editor at large of the publication, will begin a new career as a Park Ranger with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
“Since Trump’s election, Bill has been very grumpy. Getting out into nature will be good for him. It’ll give him time to reflect on all of the stupid things he has said over the years,” said one of his colleagues to Mendaco Press who chose to remain anonymous.
The Weekly Standard was an American opinion magazine. It was owned by MediaDC, a subsidiary of Clarity Media Group, itself a subsidiary of The Anschutz Corporation. On December 14, 2018, its owners announced that the magazine was ceasing publication, with the last issue published on December 17.
The pathetic and dishonest Weekly Standard, run by failed prognosticator Bill Kristol (who, like many others, never had a clue), is flat broke and out of business. Too bad. May it rest in peace!
