OMAHA – Warren Buffett, billionaire and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, says the wise choice is to invest in popular YouTube personalities. He believes big media is dying.
“The heart of 21st century media is in relatable internet personalities, not faceless corporations. Big media is dead. Personalities like PewDiePie and Jacksepticeye are the future. Long after you are out of business, Pewds will still be King. Before you invest, you need to ask yourself, do you want pyramids? I suggest you subscribe to PewDiePie,” said Buffett in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.
Buffett has been the chairman and largest shareholder of Berkshire Hathaway since 1970, and he has been referred to as the “Wizard”, “Oracle” or “Sage” of Omaha. He is noted for his adherence to value investing, not being in favor of passing trends.
